joe asked:

i’m 16 and interested in going to college and have a double business major in finance and political science and was wondering if that sounds like a bad idea.

then graduate school for finance, then on to law school. does this sounds like an okay plan?

That sounds good but be prepared to work hard in school for a while.

Ask yourself what you want to achieve with a career. Political science and finance don’t really go that well together and have vastly different course requirements. If you want to do something in business I’d suggest double majoring in related areas, like finance and accounting, or finance and economics. This would make your marketability better in the real world. But a double major in poli science would have little, if any, increased prospects.
